Buy, sell and trade radio gear on the 147.390 repeater. Every licensed ham is welcome to check in, from first-time callers to old hands.

Club meetings

Second Saturday of each month, 11:00 am

Meetings are held at the Freeport Public Library, 100 E Douglas Ave, Freeport, IL 61032. Visitors are welcome, licensed or not. Bring a radio question and someone will help.

First Saturday of even-numbered months

The Technician exam is 35 multiple-choice questions, and 26 correct answers pass. Volunteer examiners test at the Freeport Public Library. Study help is available through the club.

Join the club

Membership is open to anyone interested in amateur radio in and around Stephenson County. Annual dues are $25. Dues support the upkeep of the KB9RNT repeater.
